Lowering amavis processes

Greetings everyone!

I set up clamAV using this tuturial ~~https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PostfixAmavisNew. I have tried to lower the max processes down to 2 as in the ubuntu tutorial but Longview still shows 3 process attributed to amavis and memory usage did not change. Any advice?
