Upgrade to OS X - El Capitan - SSH issues

I just upgraded my Macs (iMac and Macbook Pro) to El Capitan. Both now have issues with domain name lookup (DNS) when using SSH. I can still access my Linodes via SSH as long as I use the IP number but not with the domain name. I tried a laptop that had not been upgraded and it still did fine with SSH and a domain name using SSH.

I am sure it is just a setting in the SSH config file but I haven't figured it out yet.

Be on the lookout if you upgrade to El Capitan.

Fixed:

An SMC and PRAM reset per: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3603

took care of the problem.

Just in case I'm not the only one with the issue.
