How do I register a website domain at Linode?

I want to purchase a domain and create a website using Linode. What steps do I need to take to accomplish this.

Hello,
While you are certainly able to host your website and DNS records with Linode, we are not a domain registrar. You'll need to open an account and purchase a domain with a domain registrar such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Gandi, etc. Once you've purchased your domain, you can use our platform to host both your website and DNS records. You'd just need to point the nameservers from your domain registrar to our nameservers which are:
- ns1.linode.com
- ns2.linode.com
- ns3.linode.com
- ns4.linode.com
- ns5.linode.com
Please note that DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate through the internet.
