Any plans for a datacenter in Seattle, WA?

Subject says it all. I have no idea what Linode's customer base is in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska so I don't know if such a thing is even warranted.

If a datacenter were to open in Seattle, I know I would move my Linode there.

Hey @stevewi! While we LOVE Seattle, I can tell you that we don't currently have plans for a Seattle-based data center. That said, it doesn't mean that it will never happen, and I've created an internal tracker to gauge ongoing interest in a location for the Pacific Northwest.

If you have any other suggestions, feel free to send them to feedback@linode.com so our team can take a look.

Seattle is currently available (in beta) through the Akamai Linode Project Green Light.

Hello, just want wanted to close the loop here.

Seattle was officially released to the public as one of our new Core Compute sites in September 2023:
