How to resolve SMTP errors in Odoo installed on Linode
Hi,
I have just installed Odoo v12 Enterprise on my Linode server and enabled outgoing mail server SMTP. When i test the connection, it shows successful but trying to send message/mail from odoo, returns with errors and message never goes out.
running nmap shows ports 25/465/587 are all closed.
Any help on how to resolve?

Linode blocks ports 25, 465, and 587 on accounts created after November 4, 2019 to help prevent spam; to get these ports unblocked, see the instructions here: https://www.linode.com/docs/email/running-a-mail-server/#sending-email-on-linode
