I can't log in to my Linode with PuTTY

I forgot my Linode's password and reset it, but I can't log in with PuTTY.

Are you logging in as your "root" user? The Reset Your Root password in your Rescue tab will only apply to the root user on your Linode. If you need to change the password for another user, you can log in as root with Lish and use the following command:

passwd <username>
