Upgrade from Linode X to Linode Y

Once you have a particular type of Linode, is there any way to upgrade it leaving what has been installed place? (eg. from Linode 200 to Linode 300)

It seems that once you have a Linode, the only option is to upgrade individual components (RAM, diskspace, etc.), but I may be missing something.

Thanks,

~Mark

You can upgrade at any time while keeping your installation intact.

Your disk images will be moved with you and you can keep your IPs (unless you are being moved to a different data center). The "migration" takes 2-3 minutes per gig of data to complete (downtime).

Submit a support ticket and we'll configure the migration for you. You choose when you want to perform it by logging into the member's site, shutting down, and clicking the migrate button.
