How often do you update your server (Ubuntu)?

I have a small Ubuntu 18 Linode server with a few small, simple Wordpress websites that don't get huge traffic.

How often do most of you SSH in to your server and do the "apt update/upgrade" procedure? Daily, weekly, monthly, or only when the moon is full? :-)

Thanks,

Al

For Ubuntu, you need to do it more often than only when the moon is full because Ubuntu churns so much…especially if you use PPAs.

For Debian, I do it daily…only because I log in daily. I don't really have to do it that often…just a habit I guess.

I run Ubuntu and do this weekly on a Saturday/Sunday evening.
