How do I update ssl

My ssl expired and I have a new certificate.

I copied the cert txt file and copied the contents into the file url_net.key in /etc/ssl but I get not secure.

What else do I need to do?

There is very little information here to work with. SSL for what? Apache? Nginx? Something else entirely? How do you have whatever software it is configured? And so on.

Difficult to say without more information to go on, but if you’ve added the new certificate to the same files as the service/app is currently configured to use, you may need to restart it.

Most services I know will only read the SSL certificate on startup.
