How do I properly resize up a linode running cpanel web app?

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on resizing up a linode that’s running cpanel and web app. I really don’t want to corrupt any data and wasn’t sure if there’s anything I should do before clicking resize

Resizes are generally safe. Essentially, all that happens in the background is we make a copy of your Linode and send that copy to a different host in the same data center. There are checks in place to ensure the integrity of the migration.

Can something bad happen? The possibility is not 0%, so yes, though the probability is not high, either.

Anytime there's any change to your Linode, I highly recommend having a backup option to revert any changes. The Linode Backup Service is a great option, though other options are also available.
