How can I use an external domain in Terraform configuration

I'm getting started with terraform using your docs and video tutorial

is there a way to use a domain I own with another company
in the terraform?

maybe in linode_domain_record?

Who's hosting your DNS records? They may have their own Terraform provider which you can utilize in order to create DNS records.
