How do i fix IP sharing error

linode ip-sharing keepalived standby

I have 2 Linode servers A and B in Toronto DC and i am looking to configure IP sharing on the secondary server which is going to be my standby failover server. At the moment IP sharing failed when trying it out on Linode server B. I reach out to support according to the error, but i am wondering what the solution is as support is not getting back to me on time.

Failover through IP Sharing is currently not supported in Toronto. If you're able to, I recommend opting to go with, or migrating your Linodes to, a region which supports IP Sharing to easily configure this feature.
