Locked myself out of SSH & SFTP

So I have been trying again to get SFTP jails working using http://library.linode.com/security/sftp-jails and I had no luck getting it to work - I also tried Use Public Key Authentication with SSH: http://library.linode.com/security/ssh-keys which crashed halfway through - now I can't get into my ssh or through SFTP as root. Royally stuck and I have no idea what to do!

Please help!

Use the lish console.

OK thanks for that - how can I remove any information sent during the crash of SSH keys?

Let's just say I want to get rid of SSH keys - how do I turn it off?
