hi,we have one vpn server on linode,the OS of vpn server is centos 6 x64.

we want to block bt or p2p to prohibit the user of vpn server to access illegal content.

the support tell me the l7 filter is working on the situation.

who is sucessful to patch layer 7 filter to kernel 4.1.5? can you tell me how to do it. we can't find the related solution by google.

So you want an application layer filter? It has nothing to do with the kernel.

Try an open source solution such as Squid Proxy with something like Dan's Guardian.
