Weird Apache log entries...

What am I to make of this? Very strange! Seems to be a "real" browser since it retrieved all the images on that page (http://stout.rumble.net/gallery/).

I have DNS lookups switched on, but there is no fw0 I can see from DNS on my linode…

fw0 - - [09/Jun/2004:16:28:25 +0100] "GET /albums/JamieJenHouse/P4060026.highlight.jpg HTTP/1.1" 200
 11528 "http://stout.rumble.net/gallery/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)"

Possibly related, the next entry after these is a FQDN:

fw01.lamp.ac.uk - - [09/Jun/2004:16:29:56 +0100] "GET /stuff/glastotix.jpg HTTP/1.1" 200 13949 "http://www.rumble.net/blog/index.cgi/music/index.html" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)"

Anyone who has control over their reverse IP can make it anything they would like to–matching forward DNS is solely at the whim of the administrator. If you want to have Apache do reverse DNS lookups, you'll have to live with a few entries from IPs with poorly managed DNS.
