How can I "untrust" a computer so a 2FA token is required.

Linode Staff

I have two-factor authentication configured for my Linode Manager account. When logging in, I accidentally selected "Trust this computer for 30 days". Is there some way to "untrust" this computer and require 2FA tokens for each login going forward?

Yes, you can certainly remove a computer from the list of trusted devices. Here's how:

  1. Login to the Linode Manager.
  2. Click on the "my profile" link at the top right.
  3. Go to the "Password & Authentication" tab.
  4. Under "Two-Factor Authentication", you'll see the "Trusted Computers" list. Find the computer you wish to remove and click the "untrust" link.
