Any known problems with Linode/Amazon connectivity?

are there any current known problems with Linode/Amazon connectivity?
In the last day our Linode servers have been having intermittent problems connecting to Amazon servers.
e.g. repeatedly pinging a cloudfront domain gets variable results
ones to addresses starting 99.86. work, a few minutes later pinging the same domain from the server with nothing else changed will fail for addresses starting 13.227. or 52.84.

Please ignore, found a firewall issue that caused our problem.

I'm glad to see that you were able to identify the cause of the issue here. For future reference, should you see anything like this again, I'd recommend running an MTR report to check the route your traffic is taking and where it's experiencing issues along that route.
