What sort of data redundancies are in place for regular storage with each VM?

Hi @avio07! The disks of each Linode reside on SSD drives in a RAID configuration, though I can't share info about the exact configuration type.

We encourage regular on-site and off-site backups of any critical data as additional layers of protection. We have a guide with suggestions on different backup strategies here:

Each VPS has locally attached SSD storage in RAID and not SAN, correct?

Yes, the storage that comes with the Linode is local to the host. Linode Block Storage would be SAN storage if you utilized it.
