Inplace Upgrade to MYSQL 8 from 5.7.31 Ubuntu 20.04LTS

Hello,
I have searched a bit and I didn't see a guide nor a post regarding this (if I missed it, simply point me in the right direction please).

I would like to do an inplace upgrade to MySQL 8. I am currently running 5.7.31 on an Ubuntu 20.04LTS. Can someone please assist in letting me know how I should do this?

I thank you in advance.

I found a working answer here:

Upgrade MySQL from 5.7 to 5.8 On Ubuntu 18.04

However, in step 1, you will need to change the repository to what is found at this site.

MySQL APT Repository

At the time of this writing the file name was:
mysql-apt-config_0.8.15-1_all.deb
