Failed to start Network Manager

I rebooted my box and now it's unreachable publicly. No SSH, etc, but I can LISH into it fine.

I've rebooted into Rescue and e2fsck shows no errors.

Auto-configure networking is enabled (and always has been).

This box was cloned from another one that is running fine after being rebooted around the same time.

I think I've tried everything, but it's admittedly been a long day and I can't seem to figure this out.

Can anybody help point me in the right direction?

There is a lot that can be going on here. It might be helpful to know what distribution and version you are running. Finding the earliest errors in your /var/log/messages can be helpful as well.

Usually this happens when configuration changes from a long time ago and a galaxy far, far away suddenly get tested for the first time after a reboot…
