Run FreeBSD on Nanode with ZFS?

Can I install FreeBSD with the ZFS file system on a Linode Nanode or do I need more RAM?

Yes, you can install FreeBSD with ZFS on a Nanode. I was able to do it following the instructions in the Install FreeBSD on Linode guide.

However, I made the Installer disk 2048MB because the FreeBSD 13.2 image is larger (1.3GB) than the one in that guide. Also, you can use this updated command to get the newer image:

curl http://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/amd64/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/13.2/FreeBSD-13.2-RELEASE-amd64-memstick.img | dd of=/dev/sda
