Sharing my speedtest results (New Zealand)

I'm in the process of transferring my main biz website over from BH shared hosting.

I thought I'd run a few speed tests.

I uploaded the same 100mb file to my linode and to my shared hosting at BH, and tested the time to download it, at 4pm here in New Zealand, on Telecom Broadband (who are the main broadband provider).

To dl the 100mb file, it took

1 min 40 seconds from the site hosted on my Linode (Fremont)

and

3 min 47 seconds from BH.
