My linode not booting back up, and I don't know why.

On the remote console, this is the last output given, and it's not responsive:

udevd[1042]: failed to create queue file: No such file or directory

udevd[1042]: error creating queue file

init: plymouth main process (1023) killed by SEGV signal
init: plymouth-splash main process (1782) terminated with status 2

What does this mean?

The last thing I did was switch back from an encrypted volume to unencrypted. I set up the new volume, adjusted /etc/fstab to what I thought was correct, and rebooted.

Also, I had done an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS safe-upgrade, and it said that a reboot was necessary. Perhaps that has something to do with it. (?)

Thanks!

I solved my problem. I had deleted this line from the fstab:

dev /dev tmpfs rw 0 0
