Kernel is panicking?

I got linode outage for 2 hours, solved it with restart, linode support says it is php service crash and that my kernel started to panic :-) don't know why it is panicking when all you need is to restart :-) joking. Aynway this is first time for this ever, wondering what could be the cause, which logs file to look? i checked var/log/apache2/error.log and there is nothing, this is from my lish console

Got same error, but in swapper, exactly a hour after a few-minutes-long outage that I assumed to be a network outage.

Yes, the binary junk on the (1GPs behind) line was real binary junk.
