Trying to run a ShoutCast server

Hello All,

I am trying to run a ShoutCast server on my Linode, however I am running into some difficulties. I did the tutorial in the Linode library (~~[https://library.linode.com/communications/media-servers/shoutcast" target="_blank">](https://library.linode.com/communicatio … /shoutcast">https://library.linode.com/communications/media-servers/shoutcast](), and I can connect Winamp to the server, however I can't seem to access my stream in order to listen to it. I opened up a port for the server, and I went to the address where you would normally find a shoutcast stream (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/;stream/1), but rather than getting an encoded stream of characters like I am used to getting on my PC, I get the following message:

__ICY 401 Service Unavailable

icy-notice1:
SHOUTcast Distributed Network Audio Server/posix(linux x64) v2.0.0.29

icy-notice2:The resource requested is currently unavailable__

I tried setting my IP address under DestIP in the configuration, but when I did this I got an error message telling me that it could not bind to the address as it was already in use. Does anyone know how to configure the server so I can access the stream?

I hope this is the right place to post this question. Thanks for your help.
