Paypal IPN error message

Hi

I run a web store on Magento CE 1.7 on my linode.

Lately, I keep getting these error messages from Paypal:

"Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing…"

I am using Paypal for more than 3 years now. It mostly worked fine. Just lately I keep getting these notifications (without having made any updates or changes to my Magento installation).

Can you help?

If it's been 3 years then you may wish to check your IPN script against paypal's IPN/API documentation, there may have been changes made that the script requires updates for.
