Craft CMS Setup

Does anyone know of any documentation regarding setting up Craft CMS on Linode. I am having a few issues with craft not seeing folder paths when they are clearly where they are supposed to be. I'm assuming this is to do with permissions on linode and ownership of the web folders/files but I've not found any documentation that tells you who should have ownership etc.

Cheers

There wouldn't be anything specific to linode, as you have root and can change ownership/permissions to whatever you want. You're likely better off asking this on a craft CMS community to find out what the ownership/permissions should be.

I've recently done this. Took a bit of work and messing around with, but you're correct: lots of permissions changes, and making sure php had write access to the right files. The craft stackexchange site has lots on this. Additionally, if you are able to access the admin panel, there's a server info link at the very bottom of each page that has a checklist to make sure you have all of the correct applications and services installed.
