It depends on the way you are going to use your linode. Are you planning to install any control panel ?

If you are not an ssh expert i suggest you to use some control panel like cPanel

Ps you don't need to install cloudlinux if you don't want the extra security and resource control.

You can use 'xftp',use this upload files(include websites) very easy!
