How to update and upgrade Finnix os?

Hi, I am having a problem with update and upgade Finnix os version 111 which is used by Linode at Rescue. The offical website of this os is https://www.finnix.org/Finnix_111_release_notes.

I tried to update source.list but I still can't update and upgrade it perfectly and correctly.

Please help me to solve it.

Thank you so much.

Hey @nht09 - can you share the error you're getting? Are you trying to do something specific that the current version of Finnix won't let you do while in Rescue Mode?

Finnix version 111 is the most up-to-date version right now (release date was June 3, 2015). You can try running apt-get update and apt-get upgrade, but the required reboot may wipe out the upgrade since it is technically done in the Ram Disk (which gets cleared out after reboots). Also, theoretically, you could download and install a custom version of Finnix on your local disk and boot from that, but I'm not sure that will help here.

It's also worth noting that there was a previous issue with gpg keys needing to be updated in order to install package updates and/or ClamAV. We recently updated our Scanning Your System guide to account for this. If that's what you're running into, I'd recommend checking out some of the steps in that guide.
