Clone server, IP cannot connect?

Hey there -
There could be a number of reasons on why you're not seeing connectivity after a cloning. I'll give you some resources here that will help you troubleshoot.
First, you should make sure that Network Helper is enabled on the new Linode. What that does is detect which distribution is booting and modifies the appropriate configuration files to assign your IPv4 address automatically. We have a guide on it here:
