Flatcar Container Linux

Is there a supported way to run Flatcar Container Linux on Linode?

Thank you.

@Kruscher, at this time, the way to create an unsupported distribution is to use the instructions we've outlined in our Install a Custom Distribution on a Linode guide.

I've also made sure to add your request for Flatcar Container Linux to our internal tracker for future consideration.

I've come up with a method for installing Flatcar that you might find useful:

It takes advantage of the rescue image Linode provides to bootstrap Flatcar onto a new node.

Hi, I just came across this ticket. Please note that Flatcar is now supported on Akamai (without rescue image). https://www.flatcar.org/docs/latest/installing/community-platforms/akamai/
