How to setup godaddy domain with linode cpanel based hosting

I am using linode cpanel based hosting. Recently i purchased a new domain from GoDaddy. I changed name servers ns1.linode.com and ns2.linode.com in GoDaddy dns setting for this domain and then tried to add this domain in cpanel. But i am getting error. Can somebody tell me detailed steps to do the same. Thanks in advance.

What is the error you are getting? According to the cPanel Documentation, you need to create a DNS Zone, enter the IPv4 address, and Enter the domain name. If you're having trouble, you should be able to run the following script from the command line as root:

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/autorepair io_compress_gzip

This page titled DNS Zone Manager has more information about the cPanel DNS Zone Manager itself.

Alternatively, you can follow the Linode DNS Manager Documentation to you host your domain on our platform as opposed to cPanel. However, you may lose some of the ease functionality of cPanel with the domain itself.
