Configuring DNS for static sites hosted by object storage for a domain's root

I am attempting to get a static site published under a domain's root. I have followed the guide available at https://www.linode.com/docs/guides/host-static-site-object-storage/ to publish artifacts to a bucket and make it web-accessible. The guide demonstrates how to set up a CNAME record to point a subdomain such as www to the website bucket. However, I want to have the site hosted at the domain's apex (example.org as opposed to www.example.org).

Does Linode have any available documentation on setting up an alias record or specifying DNS records for the domain root to point to the website bucket?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Based on the documentation you noted above, the documentation regarding custom domain names and Object Storage and the configurations necessary to point a CNAME record to your bucket's domain name, I believe you need to have a subdomain (in this case, www) configured to correctly redirect traffic to your bucket.
