Ubuntu 24.04 availability

Generally speaking, major distribution LTS releases and updates to existing LTS distributions on Linode happen same-day.

You can see a list of current distributions, when they were last updated, and when they are slated for End of Life here:

If you notice, more often than not, the timing for the last update coincides with the release schedule over at ubunutu.com:
