OpenLiteSpeed web server with Django development framework.

The Django OpenLiteSpeed app automatically installs Linux, performance web server OpenLiteSpeed, Python LSAPI and CertBot. OpenLiteSpeed features HTTP/3 support, and easy setup for SSL and RewriteRules. It’s flexible enough to host multiple Django apps, and supports many other apps including NodeJS, Ruby, and CMSs like WordPress.

Getting Started After Deployment

  1. Once your OpenLiteSpeed Django app has finished its installation, open a terminal and you will see a prompt as shown in the image below:

  2. You will be prompted to enter the domain you’d like to use for this instance. You will want to ensure that you have assigned the domain to your Linode. If you would like to utilize the IP address or default RDNS of the Linode, you can skip this by pressing CTRL+C in the terminal.

Now that you’ve accessed your OpenLiteSpeed Django instance, check out the official OpenLiteSpeed Django documentation to learn how to further configure your OpenLiteSpeed Django instance.

The OpenLiteSpeed Django app was built for Linode by LiteSpeed Technologies. For support regarding app deployment, contact Linode Support. For OLS Rails application support, post on the OpenLiteSpeed Community Forum.
